We started launching some other sites using a platform called Webwave. It has been useful. While we still intend to keep the Shopify site going, we like that the ability to launch other less intensive sites is simplified with WebWave.

It means that we can position elements anywhere on the canvas, and work with layers. Designing websites with WebWave is like creating graphics with Photoshop.
The pros are that it is powerful, integrates hosting, gives lots of tools and options, etc.
The con is it takes getting used to and has a bit of a learning curve.
Overall, we like it. So take a look.
